Appolonia is a long-established company specializing in apple exports from Poland. Its apples are sold in markets worldwide, including Europe and Asia. Vietnam, in particular, is a promising market for Appolonia’s apples.
During the meeting, Eurasia shared insights on the growing demand for apples in the Vietnamese market, especially during the Polish apple season. Vietnam, with its large population and increasing demand for apples, presents significant growth opportunities. Polish apples have been imported into Vietnam in recent years and have garnered positive attention from consumers.

Representatives from Eurasia had the opportunity to tour the apple orchards and packaging facilities of Appolonia. The apples, ripening on the trees, promise top-notch quality. The use of drip irrigation technology helps regulate the water supply to the apple trees in cycles, producing juicy and high-quality apples.

Additionally, greenhouse and netting systems are applied to protect the apple trees during their growth phase, preventing diseases. The apple packaging factory, equipped with modern and advanced machinery, can operate at maximum capacity to meet the demands of harvesting and packaging during peak apple season. The cold storage facilities for preserving apples are also well-invested, ensuring quality and maintaining the required temperature standards.
**Origin of Polish Apples**
Red apples, commonly known as Western apples, are widely grown in many countries in Asia and Europe and are exported to various markets. Currently, these red apples are widely cultivated in Poland and are known as Polish apples. Polish apples are commonly classified into three main varieties: Ligol, Idared, and Eliza.

With an annual harvest of up to 2.5 million tons, Poland is the largest apple exporter in Europe and the third-largest in the world, following the United States and China. Russia remains the largest importer of Polish apples. To expand the apple export market, the Polish government has approached new markets in Asia, identifying Vietnam as an emerging market with substantial potential.
